How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?
Pre-Treatment Expectation
Before the treatment, our aesthetician will ask you to shave the area so that the laser can penetrate into the root of the hair. Waxing, tweezing or bleaching is not recommended because the root needs to stay intact for the laser to destroy the hair follicle effectively.
During Treatment

To make sure all unwanted hair is removed completely, you will need to have a series of treatment sessions spread out weeks apart. Typically it’s recommended to have 6-8 sessions for optimal results. Once the treatment sessions are completed, the hair area is removed permanently. During the consultation, the aesthetician will look into your underarm area and arm to determine a customized treatment package. It’s necessary to complete the necessary number of sessions instructed by a technician.
A treatment for underarm typically takes less than 10 minutes. Compared to waxing, laser treatment is way substantially more comfortable and less painful.
Post-Treatment
You are expected to see the results over a period of days or weeks. The results won’t be immediate and vary differently for each person.
You can shave between each treatment but avoid plucking, waxing or other hair removal methods.
